Tuesday Poem: Ashes - Tara Divilly and Derek Walcott
and in the salt chuckle of rocks
with their sea pools, there was the sound
like a rumour without any echo
of History, really beginning.

Oh, how I love this poem, that chuckle of rocks and all that could be implied... I am keen to find out more about Tara Divilly, too. I am going to Reunion later this year... You don't often come across people who are from there!
